A lifting thread treatment involves inserting dissolvable barbed PDO threads under the skin. They gradually dissolve and stimulate fibroblasts and collagen production. As a result, the skin becomes smoother, tighter and firmer.

In addition, the latest generation of barbed lifting threads can lift up to 2.7 kg of tissue. With this much pulling strength, the threads can give an impressive lift to sagging cheeks or the fold under the chin.

Because the thread is inserted under the skin through a cannula, the treatment involves little discomfort and is considered safe when performed by a qualified specialist. COG 4D threads have barbs arranged in a spiral around the thread, which gives a very effective lift that is visible immediately after the treatment.
